70 let po druhé světové válce tento box obsahuje deset CD s hudbou nizozemských skladatelů, kteří byli během této ničivé války pronásledováni. Jakékoli uvádění těchto děl bylo v té temné době zakázáno. Z 19 nizozemských skladatelů, kteří byli deportováni do koncentračních táborů, jich nacistická zvěrstva přežilo pouze šest. Jiní přešli do ilegality nebo přežili s falešnou identitou. Téměř pro všechny z nich skončila hudební kariéra předčasně. Nadace Leo Smit se během dvaceti let výzkumu věnovala těmto opomíjeným a zapomenutým skladatelům a jejich dílům. Jako umělecká ředitelka pomáhala vydavatelství Et'cetera s výběrem děl flétnistka Eleonore Pameijer.
