Initiative Musik gGmbH

In the absence of a proper company role, Initiative Musik gGmbH should be entered as Record Company for the time being. The "Initiative Musik gGmbH" is a funding agency set up by the German federal government. One of its main goals is to promote and support young musical talent, musicians with immigrant backgrounds, and disseminating music from Germany on a national level and on foreign markets. It is supported by the German Collecting Society for Performance Rights (GVL) and the German Music Council. Financial support is provided by the GVL, the German Music Author’s Society (Gema) and the GEMA Foundation.
